Kibale National park, is an extension of the great forests of West Africa with over 1000 chimpanzees all together and about 140 habituated and open for tourism. Chimps live in communities and have a complicated social structure, just like humans they keep close ties within the nuclear family and you would find mother daughter and sister close; the females usually wander in small family groups. A group has an Alpha male which is dominant and takes charge of most activities and movements.

On the track, chimps are always located their calls which are very loud and at times scary if your close and caught unaware, since they make nests every day, they can also but traced from that, they walk on their knuckles and following these is always done by rangers, their fresh droppings is away of looking out for them on this safari we present you all these, just be a nature primate lover and we shall get you there. It is always amazing to observe them as they feed in fruiting figs which have their favorite meal and once in a while, they supplement their diet with meat through hunt and their best is the Red Colobus or black and white

Day 1: Depart for Kibale Forest National Park – Uganda
After an early morning breakfast we start our Uganda chimpanzee trekking safari by driving to Kibale Forest National park. As we drive, there will be numerous stop overs to enjoy peoples cultures and view primates like Varevt, Blue, Red Collobus and at times the chimpanzee and we approach Fort portal around the Sebitoli area  then we proceed for a lunch stop in Fortportal. We shall later check in for dinner and overnight at Chimpanzee Guest House or Ataco Country Resort

Day 2: chimp trekking Tour to Kibale Forest

This morning after breakfast we head to the starting point at Kanyanchu where the famous Uganda chimp trekking activity starts, This is not only a chimp trek but there will be numerous primates that we shall encounter like the Black and white colobus, Blue, Red Collobus, L’hoest’s monkeys, Grey Cheeked Mangabey, Olive Baboon and we might come across animals like the forest Elephants, duikers and bush pigs in the forest. After the trek, we shall return to the starting point where we can have lunch then depending on the energy level we can have an afternoon walk in the Bigodi wetland a result of community conservation efforts which is well known for various bird species and primates which we might have missed on the morning chimp trek. Return to the lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 3: End of our chimp trekking safari as we drive to Kampala

After a morning breakfast drive to Kampala feel free to ask your driver guide to stop whenever you say anything of interest. There will be lunch en route. Dinner and overnight at your preferred hotel / Lodge or back to your home and that makes the end of this Uganda safari.
