Trek two of man’s closest cousins in different location. It s always a delight to meet and spend time with the endangered mountain gorillas as well as the chimps and lots of other primates and wildlife.

DAY 1: ARRIVAL IN KIGALI

Upon arrival you will be met by our representative who will warmly welcome you and then transfer you to your hotel. Depending on the time of arrival you may be briefed about your safari and also explore the small Kigali city the capital of Rwanda

DAY 2: TRANSFER TO NYUNGWE FOR A PRIMATES WALK

Drive to Nyungwe forest national park where our gorillas and primates trip begins. Stopover at Nyanza an ancient and beautiful palace with rich Rwandese culture and history. Enjoy the ever green countryside as you transfer.

DAY 3: CHIMPANZEES AND OTHER PRIMATES OF NYUNGWE FOREST
after an early morning breakfast and briefing at the park headquarters we will proceed to have a nature walk on one f the many trails in this huge and old rich tropical rainforest. We will particularly look out for the playful chimps which are a delight to watch as they swing in the fruiting trees.

DAY 4 : PRIMATES WALK IN THE NYUNGWE FOREST

Once again assemble at the Uwinka park headquarters for another exciting day in the humongous tropical rainforest with a rich biodiversity. This time we take on a different trail to the awesome falls. The same trail has a wide array of colorful birds and the docile colobus monkeys. The day is well worth spent in this ancient antique

DAY 5: TRANSFER TO VOLCANOES NATIONAL PARK FOR GORILLA TREKKING
following a well prepared breakfast we will t drive to Ruhengeri at the foot hills of the volcanoes home of the mountain gorillas. Watch out for the beautiful green hills that give Rwanda the slogan of the land of a thousand hills.

DAY 6: Golden monkey trekking in the volcanoes. 
Assemble at the park headquarters for the briefing of the Golden monkey trek. Make our way through the densely forested slopes of the Virunga in search of the endangered golden monkeys that live in the bamboo vegetation cover in this forest.


DAY 7: TRANSFER TO UGANDA’ BWINDI IMPENTARABLE FOREST NATIONAL PARK
Early morning you could go golden trek Dian Fossey’s grave and the gorillas as well as the former Karisoke research institute before transferring to Uganda’s Bwindi impenetrable forest National park
 

DAY 8: GORILLA TREKKING IN BWINDI IMPENETRABLE FOREST NATIONAL PARK

Early morning, have Assemble at the park headquarters for the briefing before taking on the hike to the mountain Gorillas nest an exciting experience that may take anything from 2 hours to the whole day. The tasking trek is highly rewarding with amazing songs of birds that encourage you on to the face to face breath taking encounter that lasts up to one hour with the mountain gorillas

 

DAY 9: TRANSFER TO QUEEN ELIZABETH NATIONAL PARK

After breakfast drive to queen Elizabeth National Park through the switzland of Eastafrica the winding roads and terraced hillsides are amazing. Access the park through the southern sector where we will have our very first game drive with a chance to see the tree climbing lions which are very popular in this remote part of the park.

 

 

 

 

DAY 10: GAME DRIVE AND BOAT CRUISE IN QUEEN ELIZABETH NATIONAL PARK

Yet another beautiful morning in a beautiful park, start off with an early morning game drive on the tracks of Kasenyi where you may encounter animals like antelopes, buffaloes, elephants, waterbucks, reedbucks, zebras and on a lucky day the lion and the leopard. In the afternoon after lunch, enjoy a 2 hrs boat trip on the Kazinga channel the joins lake Edward to Lake George where you may meet the largest concentration of hippos, meet the crocodiles busking in the sand teamed up with other animals that come to enjoy a drink in the afternoon plus wide range of birdlife.

 

DAY 11: TRANSFER TO KIBALE FOREST NATIONAL PARK

After breakfast transfer to Kibale forest National Park popular for the highest concentration of primates. The park is also popularly known as the primate’s capital. Stopover the equator for a few shots before continuing. Check in to the lodge and later in the afternoon go for chimpanzee trekking in the rich Kibale forest.

 

DAY 12: TRANSFER TO MURCHISON FALLS NATIONAL PARK

After breakfast transfer to Murchison falls National park, drive through the verdant countryside past large tea plantation all the way to Murchison falls national park in time for the ferry crossing.

 

DAY 13: GAME DRIVE AND BOAT CRUISES

 Early morning game drive on the banks of the Nile with a good guide you may be able to spot the Roth’s child giraffe, buffaloes, antelopes, topi, lion, leopard, elephants among others. Return to the lodge and after lunch go for a boat cruise on the Nile where we may find an astonishing display of animals and birds all trying to catch a drink and cool off the afternoon heat.

 

DAY 14: CHIMP TREKKING AND DEPARTURE

Make our way to the Budongo forest reserve early morning where we will be going for chimpanzee trekking. After continue to Kampala and onwards for your next destination.
